LIFT

 

Thanks for your interest in LIFT our student ministry.  We exist to” lift up” Jesus and reach out to others, our key verse is John 12:32 where Jesus tells us if He is lifted up, He will draw everyone to Himself.

Our youth meetings on Sunday afternoons at 5:30 pm in our Family Life Center consist of game/activity time, a meal and Bible study. Our mission here at Buford Street UMC is to make disciples of all Nations by loving the LORD GOD and loving people.

Our desire is to see our church boldly proclaim the gospel of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. We want to be on the front lines of what He is doing in the world today. Our aim is to encourage, equip, and send out a generation to be the light of the world. Our heart is to see families be obedient to the commands of our Lord, walk in humility, and to be Spirit-led always. We simply want to come alongside parents and be another voice in the body of Christ to help students grow into mature followers of Christ.
